Love in Action

The Love in Action team visit the streets of Birmingham to help the homeless and those experiencing some personal difficulty that has led to them being unable to cope with every day life.

On Friday 17th February the Love in Action team went to spread the love of God to our homeless friends and rough sleepers on the streets of Birmingham city centre.  It all started before even leaving the church when the faithful workers prepared the food and drinks, sorted and packed the hygiene packs to give out.

Before leaving the team had an anointed time of prayer and we knew the presence of God was with us.  We were provileged to chat with, serve and pray for men and women that were desperate for prayer, encouragement and chicken soup!

We met a number of people who are going through their own individual difficulties from leg injury, addiction, mental health, self-esteem and accommodation issues who requested that we prayed for them, which we did.
